The Crucifix of the StigmataThe place where Saint Pio received the stigmata on September Friday 20th 1918.
Santa Maria Delle Grazie ChurchIn this Church Saint Pio celebrated the last Mass on 22nd September 1968, the day of his death.
The Way of the CrossIt was built thanks to the Capuchins in memory of Saint Pio. The works began in 1968 and ended in 1971.
View of the New ChurchYou can admire the church whose building was ordered by the Vatican. The architect was Renzo Piano.
Interior of the New ChurchThe Friars enriched the interior of the church with several works by contemporary artists: the altar, the crucifix and the magnificent mosaic.
Saint Pio’s carBy this car Father Pio went on errands when he was very ill (his spiritual son was the driver). Nowadays you can see the car in the museum.
Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza HospitalThe hospital was ordered by St. Pio to receive and treat the poorest people. It was inaugurated on May 5th 1956 in the presence of Cardinal Lercaro.
